Chelsey | Co-owner
Chelsey brings years of experience as a professional hairstylist, salon owner and entrepreneur to PRIME Hair Brand. Throughout her career in the professional hair industry, she has built and led a successful salon team while creating opportunities for continued growth, education and international training.
Her passion for leadership and professional development has helped her salon grow through multiple expansions and build a strong team of talented stylists. Through these experiences, Chelsey has developed a deep understanding of what hairstylists, salon owners and their clients need from professional hair care products.
As a cofounder of PRIME Hair Brand, Chelsey brings her knowledge and firsthand salon experience to the development of high quality, salon quality hair products created with professionals in mind. She is passionate about combining product innovation, education and business support to help PRIME Salon Partners grow their skills and achieve success in their careers and businesses.
Chelsey continues to bring her experience as a stylist, salon owner and entrepreneur to PRIME, helping shape a Canadian professional hair care brand that understands the needs of salons, stylists and their clients.
Karissa | Co-owner
Karissa is passionate about expressing her creativity through her work and empowering other professional hairstylists with the education, tools and confidence they need to succeed. Throughout her career, she has worked with multiple international hair brands, educating stylists on the latest hair trends, techniques and professional products.
After years of success behind the chair and as a professional hair educator, Karissa continues to find inspiration in teaching and sharing her knowledge with others. She is passionate about helping stylists grow their skills, build successful careers and better understand the professional hair care products they use behind the chair.
As a cofounder of PRIME Hair Brand, Karissa brings her industry experience, creativity and passion for education to the Canadian professional hair care brand. She plays an important role in supporting PRIME Salon Partners through product knowledge, professional education and firsthand experience from behind the chair.
When she is not educating PRIME Salon Partners or helping grow PRIME Hair Brand, Karissa can be found behind the chair at Passions Beauty Studio, continuing to do what she loves most: creating beautiful hair and connecting with her clients.

Karey has proudly watched her daughters grow, build their careers and find success in the professional hair industry over the years. After an accomplished 31 year career in banking, including her role as a Bank Manager, Karey retired and began an exciting new chapter alongside her two daughters.
Bringing her years of business experience, strong work ethic and passion for supporting her family, Karey joined Karissa and Chelsey in bringing their vision for PRIME Hair Brand to life. Together, they have built a family owned Canadian professional hair care brand focused on creating premium, salon quality hair products while supporting salons, professional stylists and their clients.
